What Is Hypnosis?

 

Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of awareness that allows you to access the deeper part of your mind where habits, emotions, beliefs, and patterns are stored. It’s a state you naturally experience every day—when you’re deeply absorbed in a book, lost in thought, or driving on autopilot. During hypnosis:

  • You are awake, aware, and in control at all times

  • You do not lose consciousness

  • You cannot be made to do anything against your will

  • You can speak or stop the process whenever you choose

 

Hypnotherapy works by gently quieting the busy, analytical mind and allowing the unconscious mind to become more receptive to positive change.
