Broken Hearts

I can relate to this quote more than you know…

There was a time in my life where I truly believed

I would never love again.

My grief was overwhelming.

My life felt shattered.

My heart… completely broken.

There was a time where my dreams felt annihilated.

Gone.

Over.

Not coming back.

And my mind?

It NEVER shut off…

always racing… always negative… always expecting the worst.

I lived there for MANY years but hiding it with a smile.

I made a TON of bad decisions, 15 years worth to be exact!

But something inside me…

one day.....

a quiet voice…

kept whispering, “start again.”

And finally I did.

Not perfectly.

Not overnight.

But with courage… one small step at a time.

And let me tell you something…

~I love again.

~ I dream again.

~ I feel peace in my mind again.

And my life today?

It’s more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be back then.

Does "bad" things still happen, 100% but I have learned that 99% of the time the suffering comes from my REACTION to the "bad" thing and not the "bad" thing itself!

So if you’re in that place right now…

please hear me…

This is not the end of your story.

This is a beginning in disguise.

You were not made to stay broken.

You were made to rise.

You were made for greatness.
